Wurfbainia rubrofasciata (Zingiberaceae), a new species from Palawan, Philippines

چکیده
A ginger species collected in Palawan, Philippines was initially thought to be Wurfbainia palawanensis but differs by the dark brown fertile bracts and red spinose fruits. This is also morphologically similar continental Asian microcarpa can distinguished from this entire ligule, petiolate lamina, congested rachis, presence of stripes at base labellum. Therefore, we here describe rubrofasciata providing colour plates, data on phenology, distribution, habitat, a provisional conservation assessment. key five provided discuss likely closest relatives palawanensis.
